FIFTH-ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND
Saturday, October 17 & Sunday, October 18
TWO DAYS. FOUR EVENTS. ONE MISSION: HELP FUND NEW TEE PADS.
Join us for an unforgettable weekend celebrating five years of disc golf at Oyster Bay! Play one event or spend the entire weekend with us.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17
EVENT 1: TAG, YOU’RE IT! BAG TAG BASH
Kick off the weekend with a fun, competitive bag tag round. Bring your Oyster Bay tag and put your number on the line—or purchase a new club tag at the event. Players of all skill levels are welcome. Expect friendly competition, prizes, Oyster Bay merchandise and plenty of fifth-anniversary fun.
EVENT 2: FIFTH-ANNIVERSARY CLUB BBQ
After the bag tag round, stick around for food, friends and a celebration of the players and volunteers who have made Oyster Bay possible. The BBQ will include vegetarian options. Players, families, volunteers and friends of Oyster Bay are all welcome. Please register in advance so we can plan enough food for everyone.
EVENT 3: SUNSET-TO-GLOW SPACE ACE RACE
As the sun sets over the Bay, the course will light up for a fast and fun Space Ace Race!
Players will attack approximately 12 shortened ace-run holes with two throws at each target. Points will be awarded for aces, metal hits and other close calls. Expect illuminated tees and baskets, glow-lit course features, prizes and a beautiful nighttime disc golf experience. Bring glow discs, disc lights and a UV flashlight if you have them.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18
EVENT 4: 72 AT THE BAY
For one special day, Oyster Bay will be transformed into an epic 18-hole safari course featuring all par-4 holes, a total par of 72 and nearly 12,000 feet of disc golf.
Existing baskets will be combined with specially marked temporary tees to create entirely new fairways, strategic landing zones and challenging hole shapes available only during this event.
Players will receive a digital caddie book with the layout, hole descriptions and safety information.
This will be a long and physically demanding round. Bring plenty of water, snacks, sun protection and everything you need for several hours on the course.
THE WEEKEND MISSION
Funds raised during Oyster Bay 5 Alive will support the installation of new, durable tee pads at Oyster Bay.
Registration options will be available for individual events and the complete anniversary weekend. Space may be limited. Advance registration is strongly encouraged.
All four weekend events are donation-based. Your tax-deductible contribution directly supports the Oyster Bay Disc Golf Club and our campaign to install new, durable tee pads throughout the course.
Oyster Bay is a free public course cared for through the generosity and hard work of our players, volunteers and supporters. Please donate what you can—every contribution helps us maintain and improve this East Bay disc golf treasure.
