The newly formed Kosciusko Disc Golf Club (KDGC) is proud to present the inaugural year - a.k.a “First Run” - KDGC Bag Tag Challenge! The goal of this challenge is to expand our community, enhance our skills, and above all, have a great time playing the sport we love.
Divisions
EVNT: Registration for kickoff event and bag tag
BT: Registration for bag tag ONLY
If you cannot make it to the kickoff event, but would like to participate in the ongoing bag tag challenge, you can choose the BT division and pick up your tag at Circle Disc Golf in Warsaw on October 30th or later during their regular business hours.
Cost: $15 – you get a custom “First Run” KDGC metal bag tag and contribute to the purchase of event prizes for the 2023-2024 season (CTPs and prizes for finale).
2023-2024 KDGC Bag Tag Challenge - October 2023 through May 2024
There are two ways to compete for tags:
1. Bag Tag Event Rounds: Based on each participant's placement in an event, tags will be redistributed after the round. All events will be announced via email and the club Facebook page.
Kickoff Event
Fall/Winter: Monthly check-in matches at various local courses
Spring/Summer: A weekly bag tag league and a Bag Tag Grand Finale - specifics will be announced at a later date
2. Individual (or Group) Bag Tag Challenges: Reach out to other bag tag members and challenge them to a round of disc golf - winner will receive the lower bag tag number! These rounds must be mutually agreed upon and handicaps can be set in order to make for fairer competition. Handicaps are not required and, if used, must also be mutually agreed upon. What is a Disc Golf Bag Tag?
A disc golf bag tag is a small physical tag with a number on it that you display on your disc golf bag. A person with a higher bag tag number can challenge a player with a lower number, with the goal being to end up with the lowest number possible. Participants can play head-to-head or in groups.
