About this tournament
Welcome to the first disc golf tournament in Camrose.
We are extremely excited to be able to showcase our beautiful course for a fun day of tournament disc golf and introduce new players to the wonderful sport of disc golf.
This is a true amateur event so there will be no pro divisions.
This event will feature two rounds of 18 holes (9 holes regular layout + 9 hole alternate layout).
We have partnered with BR Disc Golf and True North Cider to make this event a memorable one. BR Disc Golf will be providing the player packs, and selling merchandise on site. You will get a premium plastic custom stamped commemorative disc as part of your player pack, and there will be a chance to win an amazing custom made trophy for the winner of each division.
True North Cider will be putting up a chance to win cider for a year for anyone who can hit an ace on the designated TNC Hole.
The course is only 9 holes so there will be limited space for the tournament pool. All players will play the same layout.
Schedule: (Approximate times)
8:10 - 8:45 Player check in
8:45 - players meeting
9:00 - 11:00 First round (Shotgun Start)
11:00 - 1:00 PM (Lunch, mini games, True North Cider Ace Race)
1:00 - 3:00 PM Second round (Shotgun Start)
Awards ceremony immediately after round 2 completed.
Optional Doubles rounds
Cider for a year = one 6 pack per week for a year
Due to lack of interest, the unsanctioned event will be cancelled.
