About this tournament
Rated rounds are back at Golden Gate Park, and we've got some fun giveaways this session courtesy of Cory & Ian at Central Coast Disc Golf! This page is meant to help find others for forming a group for scheduling purposes only. Please use the comment section to find a group. Please remember that Golden Gate Park Disc Golf Course is open to the public. Scheduling a tee time with someone does not guarantee you the ability to tee off at that time, arrive early to guarantee your tee time.
Each week, the Amateur player with the best score will win a disc courtesy of CCDG and the overall player who beats their rating by the most will also win a CCDG shirt! Players are only eligible for each prize once. Thanks to Cory and Ian for coming up with the best PDGA League sponsorship in disc golf history! (note: this may or may not be the first sponsorship in PDGA League history)
Forming a tee group on this page is free, but securing your spot in the PDGA League will require your League payment of $5 being sent to @AndrewRothschild on Venmo. Cash and PayPal payments can be arranged as well, please reach out.
IF YOU DO NOT PAY BEFORE YOUR ROUND, YOUR ROUND WILL NOT COUNT. Please, before teeing off, verify with cardmates that everyone has paid their entry fee.
Of your $5 entry fee, $1 goes towards an ace pot that will be split among all League aces at the end of League, $0.50 goes towards PDGA fees, the remainder goes towards League costs and TD payments.
If you reserve your spot on Disc Golf Scene without sending payment, you will be removed. One payment can be made for multiple League rounds.
PDGA Certified Rules Officials pay only $4 for League rounds.
Women pay only 1¢ for League rounds, I will cover your League fees and ace pot entry fee! Why 1¢ and not free? The penny acts as your sign up, if there is no payment made then I have no way of verifying that you are actually playing (and someone hasn't just signed you up).
All players must keep score. Please use PDGA Digital Scorecard through the PDGA Live App or PDGA.com/score. The live scoring access code on Wednesdays is wedsleague and the access code on Thursdays is thursleague.
All hole rules and notes are in the PDGA Digital Scorecard.
If you require a paper scorecard, you can pick one up from the small box behind the sign by Hole 2's tee. Please turn in your scorecard into the box attached to the course map sign.
As Leagues do not count towards career PDGA victories, MA1 (Mixed Amateur 1) and MPO (Mixed Professional Open) are the only divisions offered in order to maximize the amount of points available to all players.
All groups must be at least 3 players and no more than 5. Please try to limit group sizes to 4 people whenever possible.
ALL PLAYERS IN YOUR GROUP MUST BE LEAGUE PLAYERS. If you play with someone who is not playing League, your round will go down as a DNF.
