What is the Launch Party about?
This event is designed to help "launch" the new Climo Disc Golf brand! The goal is to introduce the new discs, apparel & gear and have Ken be there for this historic day to help permanently capture the Disc Golf legacy of Ken Climo.
Ken Climo will be present to play in the event and also sign autographs, share stories and interact with players and fans from the local Hernando County area!
Amateur player's will receive their choice of an Osprey distance driver, Skyway distance driver, Streak Fairway or a Belleair mid-range driver, a custom moisture-wicking event shirt along with a Sun King Discs sticker. Cutoff for guarantee of shirt size is 12/1/25 @ 12pm. Player's who do not receive an event shirt will receive a $10 credit towards any purchase.
Format
(1) Round of 18 Holes
Flex Start from 9am-1pm
Groups of 3-5 players
Tee Assignments
Blue Course: Modified Turf Tees to Red Baskets: Gold and Blue Divisions
White Course: Modified Carpet Tees to Blue Baskets: White Division
Red Course: Modified Carpet Tees to Blue Baskets: Red Division
Green Course: Modified Carpet Tees to Red: Green, Purple, FA3 and FA4 Divisions
Divisions & Point Series
To keep things super simple, we are offering the PDGA "color coded" ratings based divisions along with FA3 and FA4 as part of a 4-event point series based in the greater Tampa area.
Points Series Tour
Clearwater - 2/22/25
Floral City - 4/27/25
Sarasota - 5/17/25
Olympus - 12/6/25
The players who have the most points in the 6 color coded divisions after the (4) Tampa area events will be eligible to participate in a special personal event with Ken Climo - more details to come!
We will also have a "Players Pack Only" option for those that can't play in the event but still want to participate.
Refund Requests
All refund requests will be subject to a $5 admin fee.
