This inaugural event is intended to bring disc golf to the ghost town of Cleator, AZ Established 1864, home of the Cleator Bar and Yacht Club. Funds raised will go towards development of a permanent course. Our long term goal is to host an annual multiday festival event similar to the Jerry (tall task I know, but I have a dream :-) )

Registration Fee info per player:
$10 Facility Fee (Waived with Pre-registration)

$5 CTP
$5 Ace Pot

CTPs = 1 per every 2 players
Ace Pot - All divisions are combined into one Ace Pot. If no aces are made during round 1, Ace Pot will be distributed by either a CTP or Ring of Fire event to take place after award ceremony.

Added cash will be distributed to each pool based on number of players. Payouts will be based on the number of entries per division.

Hole Sponsorships available at $25 each - May be paid via Discgolfscene to Sedona-Verde Valley Firefighters Charity (a 501 C (3) LLC)

This unique event will consist of two rounds on Pop up layouts. 1st round - 18 Holes of varying terrain and elevation. 2nd round - 6 baskets with 3 putting stations at each basket to determine the Shootout winners. Winners will be determined by deducting round 2 putting score from round 1 raw scores.

Three competition divisions based on PDGA rating:
A Pool(Advanced) >900
B Pool (Intermediate)<900 >800
C Pool(Novice) <800

If you are unsure of which division to register for, select GEN and we will contact you to determine which division to place you in.

NOTE: Players under 18 must have waiver signed by parent or legal guardian. Players under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian during the event.

BBQ Lunch (Pulled pork sliders, Coleslaw, and bbq Beans) will be provided free of charge to registered players. Vegetarian and Vegan options available with advanced notice (Please let us know in the comment section of your registration).

Course will be set up on Thursday and available to play all day Friday. Possible Glow Round if there is enough interest.

Accomodations:

Hotels/Motels: The nearest hotel or motel options are Cordes Junction, Mayer, Crown King. There are currently no rental accommodations in Cleator.
Short term rentals are available in Crown King (30+ mins)
Dry camping available with thousands of acres of National Forest surrounding the 40 acre town of Cleator.

NOTE: Cleator is only accessible via 10+ miles of dirt road, which is occasionally graded. High clearance/4wd vehicles NOT required. Road has several washboard sections but can be navigated in most stock passenger vehicles.
