The big one.
All year long we've been holding Silver Tier flexes + Gold Tier and Platinum Tier events across the state, and now it's finally time to bring the best of the best together for one final showdown.
2 rounds in 2 days at John E. Hejl Park- designed by Armory Disc Golf specifically for championship level events- will decide the champion of the 2024 Throwing Down the Gauntlet season. Over $10,000 in added cash + prizes will be spread across all divisions, including $6000+ in added Am side payout to go along with hordes of prizes and an amazing player experience.
In addition to the added value in the payout pool, we will also have ~$3500 in prizes up for grabs throughout the weekend, including 18 CTP/longest putt prizes, several mini games for umbrellas, baskets, and more, an ace pot, AND a Mega CTP for you to play for.

This will be a 2 day tee time event and will be INVITE ONLY. Invitations are being sent out to qualifying individuals based on season point standings and tournament performance. These points have been earned throughout the year for players who have participated in Silver, Gold, and Platinum Tier tournaments, and the top point earners in each division have been rewarded invites based on their play. Winners of Gold or Platinum Tier events and those who have won at least 3 Silver Tier events have also received automatic invitations for their performance throughout the year, regardless of where they fall in overall points standings.
Divisions with fewer than 4 players will not be hosted- players will have the option to play up into another division or to receive a refund for their entry if their division doesn't meet the required number of players.
Players packs for this event will include a custom triple foil MVP disc with artwork from Justin Lago, dri-fit commemorative shirts, and several other goodies that you're going to enjoy throughout championship weekend and beyond.
IN ADDITION to the tournament, there will be a "warmup" doubles event (open to anyone) the day before the event, and Tanner McCartney will be hosting a clinic (driving, putting, optional form reviews, and more) on site as well. The afternoon before we will be having a PLAYER PARTY at Blackwater Draw Brewing, where we will be handing out player packs and free beer tokens as we hang out and have a good time leading up to the tournament.

THERE WILL BE A NON-REFUNDABLE $5 FEE FOR ALL REGISTRATIONS
Cancellations will be refunded minus the $5 cancellation fee up until 5 days before the tournament fills. Refunds within 5 days of tournament date will ONLY be granted if that spot is filled before the tournament begins, either by a waitlist player or new entry. Entry fees for dropouts that are not filled within the final 5 days will be added to the tournament payout pool. Ams who drop out during this window and are not refunded will still be eligible to receive their player packs from The Armory Disc Golf Shop within 30 days after the tournament.
