About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a College Disc Golf Conference event run in conjunction with the CDG regular season. As such, there will be no bids available to CDGNC at this event.
All men AM/PRO should register for the MC1 division and all women AM/PRO should register for the FC1 division.
This is a TROPHY only XC tier event.
All players who register for this event will receive a player's pack containing an MVP Disc Frame.
$25 entry fee PER PERSON.
$100 total for a 4 person Mixed team.
$50 total for a 2 person Women's team.
You must register all 4 players for the event at the time of registration. No placeholders allowed (except for Women's teams - you'll need to add 2 placeholders as DGS won't allow for just teams of 2). At this time, all teams must have a full team to compete in this event. Please reach out to the TD directly if you only have a team of 3 and would like to be added to a wait list. If the event does not fill, teams of 3 will be added if it fits within the 72 player cap.
Programs may bring up to 3 Mixed teams (one in each division) and an unlimited number of Women's teams to this event.
Disclaimer:
The Spartan Summit is not a beginner friendly course. Because this is a conference event where we do not anticipate many teams being able to practice the course the day before, we recommend looking at the provided caddy book for the event and/or watching video footage for the course from the ParkIt Disc Golf YouTube channel where Cole Redalen and Evan Smith played against the local club in a friendly teams event. Day of Schedule:
This event will consist of 2 rounds. Round 1 will be an individual round and Round 2 will be a teams round.
Both rounds will be shotgun starts. We will prioritize selecting starting holes nearest to the parking lot to avoid cards having to hike up the mountain to start their round.
8:00am-8:30am CST - Player Check-in
8:35am-8:45am CST - Player's Meeting
9:00am CST - Round 1 Shotgun Start
(1 hour after last card finishes Round 1) - Round 2 Shotgun Start
Scoring:
Please visit collegediscgolf.com for more information on the team format if you are unfamiliar. A more detailed email will go out to registrants closer to date.
College Disc Golf Compliance:
As this is a Conference Event, players are not required to have current CDG memberships or be roster verified. However, players who do not have an active PDGA membership will be required to pay an additional $15 for event registration (EDIT: the $15 fee to non-PDGA members has been waived for the month of September).
