2026 Spring Runoff will be a 3-day A-tier tournament (one round per day), which will utilize Nicholas Sheran Park and Aperture Park courses.

2026 Spring Runoff will be a major participating event of the Alberta Tour.

2026 Spring Runoff will be an NADGT Affiliate Event for amateur players.

2026 Spring Runoff will be a participating Women's Global Event. All female divisions have been offered. All female participants will receive an extra item in their player pack and have their rounds scored against others in their division world-wide!

To celebrate Women's Disc Golf, Spring Runoff will present a free disc golf clinic for women and junior girls, to be led by 2025 Spring Runoff FPO Champion, Jo Henderson! This clinic will take place at 6:30pm on Friday, May 15. This free option is available to gender-based divisions when you register, or walk-ups are also available. Participants do not have to be registered for Spring Runoff to attend.

POOLS:
A pool: two rounds at Nicholas Sheran Park and one round at Aperture Park.
B pool: two rounds at Aperture Park and one round at Nicholas Sheran Park.

A Pool - All pro divisions, MA1, FA1, MA40
B Pool - ALL other divisions

Some divisions may be subject to change of Pool depending on the number of registered players.

Some divisions may be removed if there are no registered players in that division within one week following the opening of regular registration. Some divisions with fewer than 4 players may be collapsed with the exception of female, junior and senior divisions.

TEE ASSIGNMENTS:

Nicholas Sheran
Blue tees - MPO, MP40
Red tees - All female divisions (except FPO, FA1 and FP40), MA4, all junior divisions (except MJ18)
White tees - all other divisions

Aperture Park
Blue tees - MPO, MP40-65, FPO, MA1/2, FA1, MA40
Yellow tees - all other divisions

AMATEURS (amateur registration will be capped at 110 players)

The amateur portion of this tournament will be a "true amateur event", as defined by the PDGA. Trophies will be awarded to top finishers in each division, and all amateur players will receive player packs equal in value to 180%+ of their net registration fee! https://www.pdga.com/td/true-amateur

PROS

Pro cash payments will be sent following the tournament by PayPal. Minimum $3000 added cash. Last year we added $4,500 and hope to do the same this year.

PLAYERS' MEETING:

All information will be sent to players via email prior to the tournament. No players meeting. Please ensure you are at your starting hole, at the correct course, at least 5 minutes prior to your tee time. Penalties will be assessed to players who are late to the tee.

WHAT TO EXPECT!:

Vendors and silent auction will be set up at tournament headquarters, at Nicholas Sheran Park, starting 3pm on Friday.

Food will be available for purchase throughout the weekend, and there are several options in the vicinity for restaurants and pubs.

Player pack pick up will run 3-7pm on Friday. Pro players are not required to check in.

Long drive competition will take place at Nicholas Sheran Park on Saturday at 6pm.

Putting competition will take place at Nicholas Sheran Park. Drop in Saturday or Sunday between 9am and 4pm to compete.

There is one tournament ace pot, and the ace pot will be split equally among everyone who hits an ace during the tournament, and has paid into the ace pot. If no aces are hit, we will do a draw for 1/2 the ace pot following the tournament, for those who paid in, and the other half will go to the LDGA to be put toward course improvements or future events. Additional prizes will go to any female or junior player who hits an ace during the tournament!

Pass-through fees will include $5/player PDGA fee, $5/player TD fee and a $2/player bathroom fee (portable toilet rentals).
