Join us as we celebrate the 5-Year Anniversary of the Spring Fling Women’s Open! This year’s event takes place on Mother’s Day weekend, so bring your mom, play alongside her, or simply help us honor all the amazing moms in our community. There’s no better way to celebrate the women in our lives than a weekend of disc golf, camaraderie, and empowerment—surrounded by incredible ladies on and off the course.
We've made this event a C-tier to be more accessible for women regardless of PDGA membership - however, we are still a Wisconsin Tour Stop and have added $750 cash! (Per Wisconsin Tour rules, divisions need at least 3 players to be eligible for the coveted Black Disc trophy)
Course Notes
New this year, both rounds will be played at the lovely Lower Cato Falls Park! Due to scheduling constraints with other WI Tour events and not wanting to take anyone away from our wonderful lady WGE tournament directors, we've moved the event a bit earlier in May. Lower Cato Falls is more forgiving with spring conditions this time of year. Layout will consist of both long and short pin positions. Pools to be finalized after registration has opened, but A Pool will play long pads, B Pool will play short pads.
We will have a taco bar available for lunch for those who add to their registration in exchange for a donation to LLDGC.
Player Pack information coming soon!
Vending for any amateur payouts will be provided onsite by our friends at Door Disc Golf.
Special thanks to our presenting sponsor: WOMT 100 Radio.
Additional thanks to Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists (OSMS) and Festival Foods for your support of this event.
Be prepared for whatever spring weather and course conditions we may have. Packing 2-3 changes of shoes and socks, sunscreen, bug spray, an umbrella, and hand warmers are recommended.
