Central FL Youth Disc Golf, aka, CFly Disc Golf is hosting the 2nd annual CFLY Classic Junior Championships, presented by the Double G Children's Foundation, as a grand finale event following our youth-focused 6-week PDGA sanctioned league for the 2023 spring season.
CFLY Disc Golf was founded to establish the first official organized juniors only disc golf program in the Central Florida area. Our mission is to establish more youth-focused disc golf events and educational programs to help develop future disc golfers in our area. This tournament is PDGA sanctioned as a B-tier. PDGA membership is required for registration.
1 round (shotgun start) of 18 holes for 10 and under divisions (MJ/FJ08, MJ/FJ10) and 2 rounds (shotgun start) of 18 holes for 12 & up divisions (MJ/FJ12, MJ/FJ15, MJ/FJ18).
Tee Assignments: (SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATIONS)
Round 1:
MJ/FJ08, MJ/FJ10 = Lincoln - Short Tees to Short Baskets
MJ12/FJ12, FJ15, FJ18 = Nature Park - Short Tees to Short Baskets
MJ15, MJ18 = Nature Park - Long Tees to Short Baskets
Round 2:
MJ/FJ12, = Lincoln - Short Tees to Short Baskets
MJ/FJ15, MJ/FJ18 = Lincoln - Long Tees to Short Baskets
Each player will receive a player's pack valued over $40.
True Amateur trophy only format. No merchandise payout.
CTP prizes available for every division!
20 minute pro clinic before round 1.
Lunch will be provided for all players at the conclusion of round 1. Parents will have the option of purchasing lunch for $5.
Raffle tickets will be available for lots of cool disc golf merchandise at the conclusion of each awards ceremony. Each player will get 1 free raffle ticket and additional tickets can be purchased for 2 tickets for $5 or 3 for $10.
Live Digital Scoring will be used for this event. Instructions will be provided along with paper scorecards as a backup.
