Is this still an active group. I just moved here from Washington State and was hoping to find a group of people here that like to throw and might want to get into a weekly bag tag round or random doubles

The WCDGC is gone. The last couple of years many more people have been playing at Freedlander park. I'm down to play almost all the time, we thought about making a doubles league but all feasible dates are taken by other courses. Not to mention most people won't travel just to play a scramble here. HIt me up to play sometime, I have a solid group of 6 people I play with all the time.

Tristan Mcbride ripped me off on a trade. Beware of this guy. Check out the disc he said was LIKE NEW in the trading post. He loved the Nuke I sent him. Pictures of the Nuke I sent him in my profile. He would not make the deal right. He is a dirtbag!!!

So im from Orrville and there is this woods behind the high school in Orr park with a path thats pretty wide. They use the path for cross country running, but it is a great place for a disc golf course. I want to try to make it happen. Anyone who wants to help me out, or give me info let me know! I don't think I can actually do much at this point in time because I'm still in college but it would be a great addition to Wayne county if the city would allow it, it's already a park...

I'm thinking before snowfall but once everything has died off. I wanna go in and basically just do a cleaning overhaul on a lot if not all of the holes. Really getting all the weeds down in the roughs mainly. Not all at once but maybe 4 scheduled dates in a month and we could really get this place ready for when spring hits. I'm trying to get my boss to loan me two of his commercial weed whips so we can make it a lot easier on us.Whoever wants to help contact me and lets make it happen.

It just needs to be maintained better in the summer and have the tee pads like raked out and flattened or just concreted... But there should be a tournament/cleanup day this summer! Entry fee, a bag of quicrete and a 2x4.

Brian Shega    August 26, 2012 at 4:39am

So who exactly is in charge of the maintenance on this course? I am willing to come out and clean this place up
