Awesome course! I gotta come back and play the other courses on this gorgeous lake!! Really cool wooded course, but well maintained with very little opportunity to lose your disc.

My first Arizona course... fun, open but challenging! Water hazards!
Silver Creek Park › December 30, 2016
On school grounds, nothing special. Had fun, quick stop and play. Some decent holes, a lot of baskets right by playground equipment so gotta be careful. No signs, just concrete pads or walkways.
Evergreen Open Space › November 21, 2016
Really fun. No signs, so finding the tee pad can be difficult, especially with a few throwing from pre existing sidewalks. Found some guys to follow and had a great time. Nice mix of shots and a good example of what a central coast course could be.
Isla Vista Peace Course › November 21, 2016
Very short, very rough, and hard to navigate. Found a local, got the lowdown. Had fun throwing it twice. Was in the area for business so I checked it out.
Coyote Creek @ Hellyer Park › April 22, 2016
Fun course, lots of shot variety. Land is used very well. Pretty vicious potion oak in areas, keep your eyes out.
Kelley Park › The Orchard › April 22, 2016
Overgrown in areas. Advanced players won't have to much trouble keeping it in the fairway where the grass is shorter and mowed. Most holes require good shot accuracy. Overall good experience, keep eyes out for poison oak.
Maximo Park › November 16, 2015
Fun course with cool shrubs and scenery. A few distance holes with mostly medium to short range shots. Some holes had tight gaps and I felt that course had some good challenge.

This is a very beautiful park. The holes have good variety in distance and utilize the trees decently to create some tight lines on some of the holes. The only real negative is the tee signs. After hole 7, it looks like they may be adding a few holes. With this said, basically ignore the tee signs after hole 7 and play the course we the flow that seems most reasonable. There are two tee signs that say #11 and a few are skipped. It was a bit confusing, but there are still 18 holes and it was an enjoyable couple rounds.

This course is gorgeous, especially now that the area has received some rain and its green! Not all the tee signs are still in place and about 1/3 of the basket locations are impossible to spot. The layout is also questionable at times with a few mundane back and forth walks. Those are my complaints, but after getting through it with a bit of frustration, I am eager to play this course again and improve my score.

I think these course is very fun considering the space available. Another California course that has suffered because of the drought.
Laguna Lake › June 20, 2015
Unfortunate how dry this course is these days. Mostly open but some challenging holes and variations with regards to distances. Pretty fun course, can be very windy at times.
Ralph Williamson Memorial DGC › February 17, 2015
fun course! Elevation change, lots of different shot and the tee boxes are really nice!
Tall Firs DGC › February 17, 2015
This was a very fun course. It had a cool feel being on the site of an old golf course. I did however feel that that the overall upkeep was very poor. I drove up from Portland for the weekend to play 4 courses. This one, I would most likely not make the trip back to. The layout was a bit confusing and crossed over other fairways a lot. The par 4 and 5's were extremely easy and I felt could have been 3 and 4's. Cost 5 bucks to play. Not a total waste of time but I felt the space available was way underutilized.

This is a course I like to jog and play. Almost all holes are 200 ft or less but there are some decent obstacles. It's pretty busy in the afternoon but the short holes makes for a decent rate of play and people usually let me pass when they see me running. If not, I throw 3-4 shots. It's a great beginner to intermediate course or a nice midrange and putting practice course for advanced players.

I was actually pretty impressed with the layout given the small amount of space. Mostly short holes but the alternate tees add some challenge on the back 9. Some of the alternate tee locations on the back could be marked better. Overall nice little course.
