We drove 3 hours to play here at one of Darrell Bankes designed at the Abbey Gardnes Grand Opening and we loved every minute of it.Worth the &10.00 fee. Two baskets on every hole orange for short and White for long ones .13 heavily wooded holes very fair lines 4 open holes, 2 of them over water. Boulders and rock walls providing high tech and fun for everyone.Excellent tee pads on wood platform with turf on top. Thirsty stop in the Haliburton Highlands Brewing, very nice people and if your hungry nice deli in the Abbey Gardens also very helpful and kind people. 20 min from family cottage.

The course from the reds was not a challenge but a few holes had variety throws to keep you on your toes,we played the reds so we can keep a closer eye on our disc with the high sage all threw the course. They do have 2 other different tee placements that are more difficult. that's were you would want to use brighter disc and maybe a spotter :).

C-
Rainbow Park...is beginner friendly course, is better than some parks I've played, but the bottom line is playing a flat wide open course is better than not playing disc golf course.with the area they have i;d say its ok. the trees on the course a few come into play.

Layout was a little confusing with no tee pads or tee signs and some baskets to close to each other, Map would of helped i think but we had fun playing these pink baskets :).

variety of fun and challenging holes, with some of the the holes were strategically set up in ways that forced you to take an alternative route to the basket with baskets near a couple of drop offs. With risk reward hmmm should i go for it. And its nice when on some holes were you have options with differnt layouts to the basket. Nice tee pads and signage. 1st Hole at the top parking lot.

This is a great course on a nice college campus a lot of fun There's lots of opportunity, but it's easy to turn a birdie
into a bogey from the shorts. From the longer tees it's different and more challenging, types of shots are needed from
straight, hyzer, anhyzer and thumbers trees make for more challenge than you might think.

Excellent teesigns on all the holes that show the basket location watch out for ground hog holes theres few of them. :)
