There's chatter again about the possibility of Bay City getting a disc golf course, follow the link to read an MLive article that explains the preliminary plans. I was asked by a gentleman that just may be the designer to explore and get feedback from those in and around the Bay City area on just what the locals think Bay City needs for a course something for beginners, advanced, 9 hole, 18 hole nothing but 24 with red, white and blue tees ? The parcel being considered is 17 acres, mostly wet thicket and woods with an area 1000' X 1000' of open land. I would appreciate any ideas that you may have be sent to me by personal message here on DG Scene. I would also greatly appreciate anyone passing the question around, especially to those that may not be considered the league or tourney player, casual players opinions are important to the feedback. the $20.00 reward worked so well for my putters, let's try this again. Lost on hole 18 at Sanford, yellow start wraith, covered with ink from the 3 aces. $20.00 for the return. Also, yellow old school ACE lost on the right side of the fairway on hole 6 at Chippewa Banks. Inked with owners name, return for the $20.00 reward. I posted a picture of the yellow wraith. thanks Pro Par Plastics for brokering the return.

I'm missing two putters last used Sunday at hole 18. I was certain they were in the bag and thought I putted Monday with them in my backyard but today they are gone. It's a mystery ??? both marked with 29817 PDGA . White JK Aviar & Orange SS Omega with Ice Bowl stamp. $40.00 or two new discs of choice when returned unharmed

congrats James Crawford - 14th place coming into the final round, 10 strokes out of the lead and 1 stroke ahead of Feldberg. I wish I could watch it live, I'd turn NASCAR off for that.

so sad for what was perfectly clear pads at The Jungle. Can anyone give an estimate on how much snow fell in Sanford ? Bay City had as much as I've cleared all year.

At The Jungle in Sanford, all but 16 & 17 pads are shoveled and free of ice. The snow is DEEP, very difficult to walk through and ribbons are probably a mando item, if you expect to easily (3 minutes) find these things. The fairways and woods have about 6-8" of fresh powder over top of 1" of ice that is over 4-6" of early snow. Most often the discs cut into the powder to the ice layer and leave almost no sign of entry. Tomorrow a few players are meeting at 11, playing holes 15 ... more
