Franklin Park › June 17, 2012
I loved the manicured fairways and with the multiple tees/pins makes this park a winner! This is a good family friendly course, I had my son in a wagon and I was able to pull him throughout the whole course thanks to the many bridges installed.

<Changed rating to a B because of all the work that has been done there recently>
Only receives a B- because some baskets aren't in place, (pole holes), and the majority of the baskets are homemade. Other than that this is the Frederick area's most challenging course by far and is still one of my favorite courses even with some pole holes. Lots of elevation changes with a variety of technical and open holes.

Would be an A+ if it wasn't for the long hike in the back of the park. Lots of elevation changes and great choices for pin positions.
Calvert Road Park › May 22, 2011
Well maintained course, great for families with young children since there is no elevation changes and minimal poison ivy.
Woodsboro Regional Park › September 11, 2017
Each tee plays completely different than the other tees on each hole. This in turn provides you with 3 courses on one course!
Locals will say the course is wide open now, too many trees have been cut. But the out of towners complain about poke and hope holes. The fact of the matter is that there IS a line on every hole. If you don't hit it then it's your own fault. Try Heritage, or Middletown, if the trees are bothering you too much
