Excellent course. A must play in Central VA.

Two basket positions with the shorter Par ~900 rating and ~930 for the longer. Very scenic with some signature views and fairway layouts.

Most fairways are open or along the edge of woods. Some start or end in woods. A few are fully surrounded by hardwoods.

Concrete pads. Plenty of parking and a field for warm-up throws in this Bedford County Park.

Enjoyable fully wooded course. Many elevation changes and narrow alleys.
Excellent place to learn how to throw amongst trees.

I usually play it in the winter. Underbrush hasn’t been an issue in colder months.

Limited parking.

Great course in a great park.

Holes are mostly open. Some tee boxes and some holes are in woods, but no holes are completely surrounded by woods. Relatively wide fairways with brush and tall grasses flanking.

Great balance between long holes and shorter distances.

Excellent Rec course. A third of the course dances along the edge of a deep creek. Some tall grasses brush flank open fairways. Wooded holes are narrow, equal number is straight, left and right turns mostly free of underbrush making it easy to find errant discs. Great course uses all the space wisely a small urban park.

Great course in a great urban park. Mix of open holes with clear view of baskets makes this ideal for beginner and intermediate players.

Latter holes play through woods. Most of the year discs are very visible. Minimal underbrush to contend with makes open and wooded holes fun to play.
