Sorry in advance if this is something you've enabled users to do on their own (don't think so?)...but can you add the Discmania FD to the disc choices? Some of us have managed to get our hands on some pre-release FDs in S-Line (Disc Golf Review ftw!) and this is one tasty new disc. Think Leo/TL hybrid...

The PDGA used a performance based scoring system this year that we want to implement in our league. While the verdict is out on how effective it is for a tournament, I think it will work very well as a simple handicapping process for a league.
It entails using a player’s expected performance for a course as a target score for that player. Whenever the player shoots the course, he is awarded either positive or negative strokes based on his round score as compared to his performance target score.
In order to use the DGS to keep up with this type of format we would need to be able to account for negative numbers in the League Scoring compilation. So far, I have not figured out a way to insert a negative number in those cells. We would also need to be able to pick the lowest xx scores for league scoring as best scores below the target (negative numbers) would be how we determine our leader.
Would you consider this as an enhancement to the site? I do not believe it would interfere with any of the existing capabilities.

I would like to award points to players each week and then keep a running total of the points for season-ending awards. in the past we were able to do that, and keep only a certain number of scores (best 5, 10, 15, etc.).

How do I do these things?

Pete, how hard would it be to allow the lowest xx scores within the league point format? We would like to be able to use our scores versus par as our league points. (E.g. our guys like to track their actual scores ( -8, -10) and thought it would be pretty cool to track how far under par the players are based on some number of their best under par games. It is just another slant on the same game and would add another dimension to the flexibility of the website. If we used actual scores the win ... more
