SPRING VALLEY DISC GOLF COURSE RULES OF PLAY
General
--All ponds and creeks are OB.
--All cart paths & beyond are OB, except where noted in Hole Specifics
--All ball golf greens are OB*. The green is defined by the shortest cut of grass, i.e.,
the “fringe” is not OB.
*DO NOT WALK ON THE GOLF COURSE GREENS! ONLY PLAYERS RETRIEVING OB DISCS.
--The “OB Line” is the paint, string, flags, or grass line. If an OB pond/creek is not
strung/ painted/flagged, the OB line is the outer border of continuous water. The OB
line itself is part of the OB area (PDGA Rule 804.04.B).
When in doubt, play a provisional (PDGA Rule 804.06).
Hole 1: P1
Marked pole will be mandatory to the left. If missed, player will play from DZ with penalty. Cart path and beyond is OB. All water in ponds is OB. String/paint/flags (when present)
supersedes water. Sand trap is OB. (Please rake)
Hole 2: P2
Cart path and beyond is OB. All water in ponds is OB. String/paint/flags (when present)
supersedes water. Sand trap is OB. (Please rake)
Hole 3: F1
Water in the creek is OB. Cart path and beyond is OB. String/paint/flags (when present) supersedes water and/or cart path boundary.
Hole 4: F2
Cart path and beyond is OB. Water (when present) in the pond on the right is OB. String/paint/flags
(when present) supersedes cart path boundary and/or water.
Hole 5: F3
Mando left of marked tree. If missed rethrow from previous lie. Cart path and beyond is OB. Water in creeks and tributaries is OB. String/paint/flags (when present) supersedes water and/or cart path boundary.
Hole 6: P3-F7
Tee box is an "In Bounds" island and player's drive must cross cart path to be in bounds
or Re-Tee. Cart path and beyond on right is OB. String/paint/flags (when present)
supersedes cart path boundary. Golf Green is OB. Lake is OB.
Hole 7: P4
Tee box is an "In Bounds" island and player's drive must cross cart path to be in bounds
