You must drive with a 7 speed (or higher) disc . . .anything after the drive you may use anything . . . after a lot of thought I do believe there is something that can be learned from this format and I am sincerely out of other ideas. I personally throw drivers on some shorter holes specifically when I want to take advantage of the glide of the drivers or if I am fearful of flipping over one of my mid-ranges even though I could throw a perfect shot and get there.
