Champoeg Thursday Night Random Dubs 2020   May 27, 2020 at 2:51am

Week 1, Come out and play.........safely.

Everything stated below will be null and void if any authority rules against us. We are still waiting a final confirmation from the park rangers at Champoeg for what we are doing. PLEASE only show up if you are willing to make safe social distancing the first, last, and most important idea to lead you on this day.

We are playing Random dubs on Thursday. It will be done under strict guidelines and protocols. If you are sick, have been sick, have been with someone who is sick, or have been exposed to someone that has reason to believe they were sick, DO NOT COME OUT!! Respect this rule first.

The 2 meter rule is in full effect! Not the nonsensical 'disc in a tree' 2 meter rule. I'm talking about social distancing. Everyone keep a safe 2 meter, (6 foot) distance apart. The 2 meter rule. Live by it.

When signing up there will be a defined lane with flags marked every 6 feet. Please be patient and respect the markers. Do not congregate around the table. After signing up, disperse about the park. Keep individual group sizes under 10. Sign-ups will end at 5:30pm sharp. NO EXCEPTIONS. I will draw teams and place them on the board as usual. We can all get back in the defined lane staying 6 feet apart and each come up to the board to see our team mate and starting hole. This cannot be a breakdown of protocol. Do not rush. Take your time and respect the 2 meter rule.

There will be no CTP's this week. Cash payout only. Ace pot as usual. Bring hand sanitizer. I will also have some at the table. Use it often.

When you are done with your round, if you are not in the running for a cash payout please vacate as soon as possible, or relocate away from the scorers table. Payouts will be quick and everyone will leave in an organized fashion.

If we all work together to stay apart, this will work. And be patient. This needs to work slowly and carefully. Respect the 2 meter rule. And have fun. This is an outdoor activity and disc golf by nature keeps the groups of people spread out. I hope to see you out there.
