What are the field games and what is the requirement from people playing in the tournament? Not sure what that means.
The field games are a completely optional part of the competition but (IMO) the funnest. There is the standard pdga 2 rounds which we will award top 3 places in each AM division and there is also the Overall awards which will have the disc golf and field games combined. The field games are a completely optional part of the competition but (IMO) the funnest. There is the standard pdga 2 rounds which we will award top 3 places in each AM division and there is also the Overall awards which will have the disc golf and field games combined. The overall awards will be point based on who you beat in each segments. There are 3 segents of the field games, which are Distance, MTA (Maximum time aloft), and accuracy, and 1 segment being your overall disc golf score over others. The top 3 players with the most points wins the Overall awards
The only catch is that if you want to get points on the disc golf side of the tournament for the Overall awards, you must play in pool A which plays the advanced layouts.
