Hello, my friend and I will be in the Dexter/Ann Arbor area on Thursday morning for one day. I would like to know what course we should play in the morning - Hudson Mills or Independence Lake? KIM we are intermediate players, so courses that are mostly difficult shots through the woods are not our favorite. Thanks so much!

Hudson Mills Main course starts out pretty open then gets a little more wooden at the end. I'd recommend that one.

Both parks have an entrance fee (HM on top of that has a pay-to-play fee). I have played both courses A LOT. I think both are worth the stop as both have their challenges and signature-type holes. Both feature at least 36 (HM has 48). I am a fan of the cleanliness of Indy, as well as my fondness of starting my playing days at HM.

Thanks so much, guys!! I would love to get any other opinions on these or other area courses. I was looking at Victory Park as well, but I think we'd end up skipping 1/3 of the holes for fear we would lose our discs in the water!

As what was already said both are great courses Volvo have a good mix of open and wooded holes I think for what you want and are looking for Hudson Mills is the place less chance of losing anything

Cant go wrong with either Indy Lake or Hudson Mills, both are quality courses with a good variety of holes. Victory Park is worth a stop and the water holes are not that bad. Hole 9 has a tiny pond/puddle and 1 foot wide stream. Hole 10 and 12 are longer but also offer safe routes to avoid going i ... more

THANKS ! Hmmm...would you guys say Victory Park is a better stop than either Indy or Hudson? It does look really cool with the water, old trees, etc. - I was just worried about losing one of the three discs I’m flying with. Also, has anyone played Shore Acres in Holland or Burchfield Park In Holt? How do they compare to these courses? Thanks so much!!!
