Finals - Sunday, October 7, 2018 - Rain or shine, but will be canceled in the event of thunder and lightning.
Sign in will be from 9:00 to 9:30 AM at the Overlook Shelter, which is near the #4 teepad. The finals will coincide with the Sunday Devotional League, so please arrive early and expect a large turnout. All players will be assigned groups and starting tees and will tee off at 10:00 AM. The event will be limited to 72 players on a first come, first serve basis.
Format: first round blue tees, second round white tees. The entry fee is the usual $4 + $1 for the ace pot. If you plan to participate in Sunday Devotional there are additional entry fees, which will be collected by Eden Gonano.
Refreshments: After the first round, lunch will be provided at no additional charge. HUGE thanks to Dave "Wolf" Wolfrey from Mission BBQ in Robinson, who is supplying brisket and chicken sandwiches, kettle chips, and water, along with some vegetarian options. Mission BBQ opened this summer on Steubenville Pike in Robinson and serves AMAZING food! Check them out next time you're in the area.
Prizes: There will be two CTP holes each round. Prizes include discs courtesy of Grip It and Rip It Disc Golf LLC., a $25 gift card for D-town Disc Golf and a $50 gift card for Mission BBQ in Robinson. After the second round we will meet at the #4 red tee and throw for more prizes, courtesy of Pittsburgh Flying Disc. If no aces are hit during the tournament, we'll throw off for the ace pot as well. If no aces are hit during the throw off, the pot will be held until next season.
Payouts: Cash and prizes will be given out at the end of the day to the top of the field, as well as the season's top league players. Any players who have remaining balances from previous league rounds may also collect at the end of the tournament.
