The season is winding down, but the course is lighting up! 38 saucer slingers made their way out to Champoeg this evening for a exceptionally fun round of random dubs. When discs came to rest and the birdies were totaled up it was team Ben Cole and Conner Williams alone in 1st place. Their hot round of -17 (on an 18 hole layout) sent cash and points their way. Conner jumped up a little higher on the leaderboard making his way into a tie at 6th place with defending champion Finan Snyder.
With only 1 week left to add points towards the final tally it looks like a 3 pony show. Crist Garcia now holds a 1 point lead over Erik Etherton, while Erik Hayworth moved up a couple points tonight to be only 4 points off of 1st. Whoever takes the Founders Cup this year will have to stand tall one more time. Best of luck gentlemen. It has been an honor to watch you play.
