That is a good question Erik. The answer in NO, you do not need to be a member to play in BATTLES that I'm hosting yet. Since my BATTLES are a 9 hole/eliminations format I must limit them to 36 players so as to not get too crowded. I have not reached that limit yet, but as popularity grows for BATTLES I may need to require CCDG membership to limit turnout fairly. CCDG membership is only $10 annually and also required to play in the Ace Run Jackpot in spring.
