Saturday January 7th, Freezebee Ice Bowl benefiting the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen
Hey Disc Golfers,
Don't forget, this Sunday is the Freezebee Ice Bowl charity event benefiting the Detroit Capuchin Soup Kitchen. Bring your cash and canned goods donations. There is a chili cook off as well, so bring your best chili for a chance to show off your cooking skills.
But if you don't have that, i have another challenge, it's for the highest cash donation. I know it's almost a little bit too late but who out there is going to dethrone me from the highest cash donation this year? Doesn't anyone else out there want to help those less fortunate than us. If you let me win again this year, it will be the 9th year in a row. Come on guys and girls, call your family and friends and get some cash donations to bring on Sunday. It's easy to do and believe it or not, people like to donate to charity, must people just don't know it unless someone asks them or informs them to. For the last 9 years all i do is send out 2 emails (one informational and one reminder) and have been getting over $500 each year. Easy as that.
