Last time I went there they checked my car for parking passes and wrist bands for the course. Google maps might tell you to take a dirt road and end up missing the toll booths, just be careful when you go make sure you pay because tickets are annoying. I know first hand.
I've gotten a ticket a couple years ago there and I just bought a season pass and they nulled the ticket. $15 ticket and $25 year pass back then.
I grew up off of Buno Rd (dirt road mentioned above) and pretty much went into the park my whole life without a pass. It's the same price for the ticket as it is for the day pass, so it always seemed a no brainier for people to sneak in. However I've never seen anyone checking wristbands, they check car passes very regularly in my experience.

Circumventing rules, disregarding fees, that the rest of us gladly pay and intentionally depriving a park system of the monies used to support activities you are into.....are all no brainers. Perhaps your post was based in bravado or exaggeration, Eric, but I find such entitled behavior asinine. The MetroPark system, while perhaps not perfect, has become one of the premier disc golf park systems in the nation....on the back of the money from longstanding supporters. I apologize in advance for any misinterpretation of your post above, but it honesty reads as pure nonsense. I can only hope that littering, vandalism and breaking into cars are not also "no brainers".....as long as you don't get caught.
