The max we can have at Oakland University is 72 players. The Pro and AM1 divisions will be there for sure in the afternoon. It is hard to predict what divisions, including the Pros and AM1s will bring the field to 72 players so I was assuming the AM2 field would get us close to that magic number. If we have to include the AM Masters or AM Women or both to maximize the field, that is what we will try to do. In my mind, one goal would be to have the smaller field go to Stony in the afternoon hoping to avoid the casuals as much as possible. The AM3 and AM4 divisions starting at OU and only playing 18 holes should get done rather quickly. If we are successful here the AM3 and AM4 fields will have an early departure time from OU as they travel and and try to get through the main gate at Stony before the Sunday crowds begin to gather.
