Hard working disc golfers, like Nick, clear them for the enjoyment of all of the rest of us. Big thanks to the shovelers. In return, I will promise to never, NEVER, play off of a snow covered tee pad.
that would b true at any other course but the park crew at indy goes out of their way to cater to disc golfers. I have personally seen them jump into a vehicle as we entered the park and clean all the pads for us. and I'm pretty sure there are no winter leagues at indy. never hesistate to thank the crew for their hard work. they help make indy a great winter course
and I'm only saying this because basically every other course in the area doesn't do a damn thing for disc golfers in the winter (even though we pay for a year-round pasd) and I want everyone to apprectiate their attention to our sport
They may have, but it doesn't seem consistent. I could be wrong, and if not then everyone wins. And if in fact they haven't, well I'll be there Saturday, with our shovel :)
In my experience of playing all over SE Michigan for the past few winters is Indy ranks up there with the best as far as maintenance on the tee pads. Kensington does a good job and the leagues keep Bande, Willow and Firefighters pretty solid all winter. All five of those courses are solid bets for winter play.
yes. the pads were perfect on monday
Not in my experience, plus snowed a lot since Monday. Leagues do clear them typically.

Standing corrected.....kudos to Indy and their crew. Still never playing off of a tee pad with snow!!!!!!!!!!
They were indeed cleared. I saw tav tracks, which likely means it was park crew. Maybe the vortex scared them away last year?! lol
