What is par for the yellow setup? I was told 55 based on the course score cards, with hole 5 being the lone par 4. But on here it looks like everything is listed as a par 3. Which is correct? Thanks!

I'm interested to see the answer to this as well. I was told everything was a par 3 for the Yellows. Hole #5 is a tricky par 3 though!

Yellow is 54. 14 is a 3

go check my scores. they will confirm. 56 black 54 yellow

Dave Davies   August 18, 2014 at 2:23pm

that is correct. You can check based on the Shore Acres Open since it was a sanctioned tournament. Round 1: Shore Acres Park - Yellow Pins, 18 holes, par 54 Round 2: Shore Acres Park - Black Pins, 18 holes, par 56

The par for yellow is 55 (hole #5 is a 4), black is 56 (holes #14, 18 are 4's). Yellow is listed as 54 on league scores since it was requested that way. To clarify Dave, Shore Acres Open was reported as 55/56 on the PDGA site but is listed as 54/56 on DGS due to the par format for league.

my bad.

It's a little confusing as it should be one way or the other (not both). But...if we all just say we shot a 56 or 52 on yellow instead of +5 or -6, there would be no confusion.

Bryan Berghoef   August 21, 2014 at 1:42pm

It is confusing. Be helpful if the league went with the PDGA 55/56. Though, yes, total score is easiest, but still...

PDGA didnt create the course. The league leaders did.

Zachary Vaughn   August 23, 2014 at 8:43pm

And the one of the course creators (TP) states par 55.
