We had a great day of disc golf at the "POO" on Thrusday. We played an expanded 18 hole layout thanks to 3 people who brought their personal baskets in to add to the thrill. 36 people came out to play and the and it was quite a show to be seen. There were 2 aces hit!!! Joe Jackson pulled off an Ace on hole 2 and Neil Hayes threw one in on hole 9 in its new location. Way to go you guys!! We had a CTP on hole 3 that was snagged by me, Buck "Nasty" Rich, when I hit the pole and parked at 5ft away. The winners for the day was an incredible -15 thrown by Brad Hummel and David Aman.

With 36 heads showing up we were able to payout the top 6 teams, keeping with the idea of paying 1/3 of the field. Keep coming out and bring your friends. More people = more people paid = more fun for everyone!!

Remember to bring your younger throwers along for the fun. We had 3 show up this time and with a few more they could be playing for their own card. Until then keep coming up and play this awesome sport. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!!!

Thanks to all the people showing up every week for a noble cause and good disc golf. With $1 of every player going to course improvments,, disc golf at the "POO" will only get better. We have a running leaderboard with a point system, and at the end of the season I will be handing out recognition plaques (a fancy looking piece of paper in a frame) to the top 15 people on the leaderboard. So keep coming out, this league will end when the park shifts the closing time.
