If the person who has been painting the orange arrows at the tone poles would please stop, it would be greatly appreciated. You may feel you are helping out, but it is causing issues with our Grounds Supervisor and technically it is vandalism as you were not authorized to do so.
I noticed them the other day when I was out. All pointing to the old toe kickers, too. Logic would say it probably was someone who has voiced their opinion on the new vs. old pad placements. A short list of people come to mind. Anyway, if I were in your shoes and it happened again, I'd treat it like vandalism for sure. Better than the course being totally privatized or even worse, removed.
I agree Silas. I was not going to mention it and just let the paint wear off, but then I recieved a phone call about it. And I hate getting an earful of anger for someone elses stupidity.
I hear ya, Jeff. Sucks when you have to bite the bullet on someone else's screw up. It's just the lack of common sense displayed that blows me away. It stands to reason that if you alter a course ON HISTORICAL GROUND, that it probably won't be too long before it's shut down. I'd surely like to see the course evolve, not die!
^^^ I agree!
