next week I will start running a $2 metal pot, that works just like an ace pool but with metal hits, any metal on the basket will count for this pot even the pole, however if there is a pole hit EVERYONE on the card must agree that it was a hit, keep it honest, no questionable sliders that might have bumped the pole as it slide by, like I said everyone on the card must agree
why would it matter if it slidez into pole? a hit is a hit?
the league awards 5 points for hits only basket or above, it used to be any part of the basket but people like to try and claim it just hit the pole to get their 5 points so the rule was changed to basket or higher, this pot will award the money for any metal hit
Sense the pole don't count for points. Maybe just keep it basket or above. Unless u can talk Derek into putting the pole back into play for the 5 points. Just my thoughts. :)
i was gonna keep this pool out of that rule and say metal is metal, i know the pole wont come back into play for league points, that was already abused too often, like i said everyone on the card has to agree that it DID hit the pole, if i get questionable hits coming in trying to claim money then i will just end the sidebet pot
i just think its more of an incentive for people to run it on every hole than to play it safe for a hot score
I like the idea Jay, if you want people to run it, instead of metal why not just do a "super ace" people can buy into a side pot with a buy in.. of 10$? just bandwagoning your idea :)
people are already paying close to $15, im just not sure how much people are going to be willing to pay every week
