There may not be a site that indicates exactly where berths are given, i may be wrong about that but i think john might have a good knowledge of where/when they might be distributed, atleast for all the chain gang events....just trying to save poor jacob the trouble of having to post his question of berths on every tournament talk section until

The MCCG Club Berths have not been given out at tournaments in the past and I do not foresee that happening anytime soon. They will be given out towards the end of league and based on your success during the Monday night season. The FE Berths will only be distributed at the MCO in August. The www.MDGO.org website may list which club has Berths but we are soon to be launching the new site and little activity has been done recently on the old site. The Club Berth's are for the clubs to distribute through competition any way they choose.
Thanks John and Mark as always. The MCCG Featured Event that offers berths is the Motor City Open. We also give out berths during Monday Night League at Firefighters as well. I hope this added information helps as well.
or just show up the friday before states and pay ten bucks for a 'play in tourney"and u will get in to states.it is a nice little fund racket the mdgo has come up with.
untrue Mike. That is the case only for the Open and age/gender divisions. If some AM2s and 3s wanted in last year they had to play in the Open or AM1 fields as the AM2 and AM3 fields were full. We had 96 players filling the fields for the Amateur divisions. The open divisions had 61 players total an ...

We had 96 players filling the fields for the Amateur divisions. The open divisions had 61 players total and the age / gender divisions had 78 total. In all there were 440 players. At the last chance qualifiers I think less than 20 spots were open between the AM1 and AM3 fields.

Jay just as a FYI, the clubs don't indicate what they do with their club berths. It will just typically say "tournament"...

I am sure John knows where the MCCG are going but since we into get 5-6 clubs berths that does not go very far.
I just have limited money so I would like to save it for the tournaments that give me a chance :)

All that said, Berths are getting harder to come by...
The days are past of just showing up the day before the event are over for many divisions.
