**OFFICIAL DISCUSSION THREAD - ALTERNATE SELECTION PROCESS**
Please leave suggestions/ideas for a back-up plan for determining the team that will be competing in Ames, IA in the event that the snow/weather prevents the completion of tryout rounds.

public vote. vote for two people other than yourself to go. most votes go. easiest solution, the snow thing is annoying, but we could still try to do rounds.

Jacob Patchen   February 13, 2014 at 6:39pm

I agree with the voting. Although I would be fine with still doing rounds but we don't have much time anymore and the courses will be pretty awful. But if you think about it, Iowas courses probably will be pretty snowy/muddy as well (maybe not by the time the tournament is though)

Yeah voting is even easier than thumb wrestling. So I agree with voting as well.

Vote

Voting would be fine with me, but should we vote for the full team of 4 instead of just 2?

Josh Carroll   February 13, 2014 at 10:23pm

I'm on board with the selection by nomination, but I do think we should carefully consider the voting process if that's the case.

Travis Bailey   February 14, 2014 at 12:00am

Yeah. I like two votes. aj is in already. and everyone would obviously vote for themselves. so two spots left. if a tie then playoff? are Tim and bryce in the vote? I'm cool with Tim being in

Travis Bailey   February 14, 2014 at 12:00am

not so much with bryce though.

When and where are we going to vote? Obviously majority of us want to vote so I say we get started on that as soon as possible to make sure we can work around everyones schedule and get everyone at the meeting.

Jacob Patchen   February 15, 2014 at 12:09pm

We can try to have a meeting this Thursday. It seems like most of us are usually able to make it to those meetings.
