.Dave, first of all we also want an honest open conversation about the Arrowhead Park fix. It is our honest opinion that this course was a design disaster at the beginning. When CDL was" in the drivers seat", so to speak, Brant and I managed to get 17 and 18 fixed even though we could not cut any trees. Maybe you can fill me in on where the club was then because it was the RUMOR, mind you now I'm not saying it is or is not right , but you were ill about the wall in the castle being torn down and didn't want anything to do with this course. Whatever the reason, what we have now is a very big improvement over what was there in the start. This course can never be any bigger than it is so we have to work with what we have. I have already shown the club where the blank spots are, so I don't see why we don't fill those spots instead of throwing around them. Hole 11 can be a really nice hole if we just do it. I know you told me that you do not see the shot on 12 but there is a very nice hole there. However it is MY belief that what we have here is a failure to agree on some basic things about disc-golf. Boz is not by himself when he says we are playing golf, some of the other players feel this way also, maybe even you. I have never read anything ever about golf, but I have read every thing by Ed Headrick, the father of disc-golf. I tend to follow the way he feels about the way disc-golf is played and designed. I'm pretty sure that we will never agree that this is golf. That is one reason I feel that P.I.D.G.C. can do a better job. As for meeting minimum requirement, we are a 501c non-profit, and to work with the county let me assure you that we can get any policy required. While I'm here let me address a RUMOR that I heard. When Russell told the town of Kure Beach that he could not put 18 holes on that piece of ground and Spiderman was asked to do it he called and spoke to Russell himself and was told to go for it. We did not force anyone out to do the beach course. Anyone that is unaware of the parameters that we had to design under can not make an informed decision on the outcome. Now with one course under our belt we have another reason why we can do better at Arrowhead. This is not intended to piss anyone off. I know even we have had our differences but I only want to make Arrowhead all it can be. A nice 3-par beginner course. Had the P.I.D.G.C. been in control of this re-design it would be done.I even feel that if the CDL was still in charge that it would be done. However all of that is a moot point because we are not in charge and even you are not in charge anymore so it is on Boz now to fix it. We want to help, thats all. I know you want to help also, so we should all pull together to fix this course for the disc-golf community. I hope this answers your questions.(by the way was that wayneu2019s a dig or a typo?)

Wayne, thanks for posting and keeping it somewhat professional. Your above post is riddled with misinformation. I will try to take them point by point in an effort to finally set some things straight here. While I and the entire NHDGC was bummed that the wall we spent so much time and money on was torn down it never had anything to do with me or the NHDGC not wanting anything to do with Arrowhead. The NHDGC has been a small club for a long time and we relied on delegating authority whenever we had the opportunity. I believe I remember Boz having A LOT to do with Helping Brant Calkin of the CDL redesign hole 18 at arrowhead but I cannot be positive of that. I will ask Boz and Brant about that and get back to you. Now lets talk about your next rumor. Are you implying that somehow I have said or insinuated that the NHDGC or myself were pushed out of designing Kure Beach? That is FAR from the truth. Russell and I wanted to push to get you guys the land that you deserved. But when Russell decided to pass on the design and Spiderman stepped in to design the course I can assure you myself and the NHDGC could have cared less. If you guys would have bothered reaching out to me or the club you would have found out that we were happy that you guys were stepping up and would have been happy to help in any way you saw fit. It is apparent that you guys down on that end of the county have a TON of misconceptions about me and the NHDGC. I can assure you the NHDGC has the experience and know how to make sure that arrowhead is the best it can be. While I am happy that you guys have what you have a Kure Beach I will let you know that it is my opinion that the most knowledgeable and experienced disc golfers in the county are working on arrowhead. If you want to be a positive contributor to this course than I hope you can put aside your ego and work with us. NO ONE in the NHDGC has an, us against them mentality. It should only be we
