Bill Griffith: Disc Golf Hall of Fame
Congratulations to Bill Griffith on his recent induction into the Ohio Disc Golf Hall of Fame! Bill is very deserving of this honor. Not only does he play competitively, Bill also devotes numerous volunteer hours to the National Organization and to designing local courses.
Bill started playing disc golf in 1993 and is currently a Director of the Portage Lakes DGA and a lifetime member of the Stark County DGA. He formed the Northeast Ohio Disc Golf Alliance in 2007 and is currently Vice President. He has been instrumental in getting disc golf included in the Ohio Senior Olympics and the National Senior Games. Bill is also Chairman of the Professional Disc Golf Association Senior Committee.
Join us in congratulating Bill on this great honor!([email redacted])

congratulations bill. well deserved.
Congrats to Mr. Griffith !! He has shone ,what can be done, by a dedicated disc golfer ! Kudos !!
Just for helping us poor throwers on 6/7/14 at Canton (and saving us tons of cash in the process), it would be deserving, but obviously it has been so much more. Congratulations on a truly deserved honor.
congratulations!

Bill and I have done numerous DG endevours together. We've designed many courses together, we've taught future? players at the Foxcreek Outdoor Experience (@ Clay's Park) and back in the day we taught 100 or so kids at camps @ Arboretum Park. We've cleaned up courses as well as clear new fairways together. But the energy that this man (and my good friend) does for our sport/ activity we all enjoy is so under appreciated and unnoticed IMHO. I'm so proud and happy for Bill of this honor. I've been nominating him for this acheivement for many moons. We're all very blessed to have a man such as Bill in our area. Congradulations Bill. Well deserved acheivement. And I firmly believe that he should be inducted into the PDGA Hall of Fame. Thanks for everything, Bill---------------- - +
I've done foxcreek with him as well. what a great time.
