I have had one person ask why it is $30 and not the $25 like Discraft says, well, that is simple and I have already addressed this in the tournament description. You see, Discraft has the price for the Ace Race set at $25, but on their website and on the tournament directors page, they ENCOURAGE tournament directors to add a nominal fee for an actual cash ace pool, that is where your other $5 is going, back to the players.

This is from the Discraft Ace Race website: Q: I want to serve lunch to my players. Is it okay to increase my entry fee to $30 to cover the cost? A: No. All Ace Race entry fees must be $25 (or equivalent for international events). If you want to offer additional side games or other benefits such as lunch, these must be optional for all players and not mandatory.

I know that you are not serving lunch, but running an ace pool, which would be considered a side game, and not a mandatory fee.
