Round 1
Only 6 of 45 players walked off last night due to weather, so the round will count. For those of you concerned, each player does get two dropped scores for the first 10 weeks and 2 more for the 2nd 10 weeks.
Lets hope for better weather next week!

Whatever though. I my opinion the round should not have started with all that lightning. If it were a tournament, it would have been suspended due to lightning. Why didn't apply to a sanctioned league round? They were unsafe conditions.
This is a concern that needs to be addressed. I was there and I agree with Kongs comments.
It is an issue Q and I talked about today... implementing a whistle system to alert the players on the course if they should wait 10 min for the the storm to pass, bring it, or continue play. I will retract my previous statement, after looking at the cards again, 15 players walked off....

I'm going to consult with the rest of the CCR Exec team and come to a fair solution.

I stayed for the whole round, but I would definitely not be upset about having a makeup round.
As a new guy in this league I was trying my best to "go with the flow" so I continued to play. I must confess I didn't know how it might play out. I would prefer to make it up.
If it is a sanctioned round it should follow sanctioned rules, period. If its just a "beer league" round, do whatever you want. It shouldnt have started, and shouldnt count.
