Negotiations have been initiated with the Kalamazoo City Commission and the City of Kalamazoo Department of Parks and I will do everything in my power to get the City to come clear out ALL garbage cans monthly. If that is not possible, then a more aggressive volunteer clean up program will be necessary.
Main Goals:
Remove glass.
Keep outlying garbage cans clear.
Remove large trash from course (mattress, tires, etc...).
Utilize fallen branches for alternative purposes (seating, course outline, etc...).
Anyone that would like to volunteer for a specific event, please leave a message in the talk section. There will be certain clean up days set to tackle each issue individually, those clean up dates will be posted soon.
