Thank you to everyone who attended, signed our Letter of Support, provided photos, etc. for tonight's City of Manhattan Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Meeting. Your support sent a very clear message that we are a group of positive & active people who want to help improve our community.
For those of you who did not attend, a brief summary of the meeting is that we are not yet in the clear to proceed building Phase II. Nor did we expect to achieve that sort of go ahead tonight. Rather we expected to make a strong case for all the positives surrounding disc golf in Warner Park, plus in the Manhattan area.
The Parks & Recreation board was very impressed with our attendance and received our multi-prong message well. Of course they also had some questions, then stated they needed some additional time to think about the topic. With that in mind, we will be going back before this board again in an upcoming month to further address any questions or concerns.
