Two weeks left and the fields are forming out. We’ve had lots of great scores and some new comers that are going to make a run for the top. We will be doing double points next week and we’ll add alternate tee positions for the second 9 holes of the round.
We had 20 players show up on Thursday, that’s our biggest group this year. I’d like to thank all of you who have brought out new people and to Terry for giving them the incentive. We’ve seemed to have lost our younger players this half of league but I can say for my kids on started football last week and with the heat my little one is liking pool time at his aunties house.
In the Rec. division we had two players. Tim S. showed up a couple of holes late and had to take 7’s for those holes. In the end Tim and Bob(new guy) finished tied. Bob(Danny’s father-in-law) took care of business like a good Navy man should…Salty, not so much sweet. Good job sailor, now go scrub the head! Adam P. holds the point totals with 12, Tim is in second with 7 points and Andrew P. is in third with 5 points. Double points next week!
In the Beginner division we had 6 players and no ties! Bonnie forgot what she came here for and Steph turned up the heat but new comer Bridget pulled out an impressive win and shooting her personal best round of plus 1. Steph holds first place with 15 points, Bonnie has 14 points for second and Zach is in third with 10 points. Double points next week!
In the Adv. division we had 12 playa’s, that’s some kind of record for them. We of course had a four way tie for first with Nolan, Luca, Josh and new comer Chris. It took one hole for Nolan to flex and claim his points! Nice one Nolan! Nolan leads with 33 points, Matt A. is in second 29 points, and in third is Matt K(scraps) with 26 points. Again, double points next week. This could make a huge impact with the guys who are in fourth and fifth place with a good round next week.
No Open division this week, only one player…Rumble. He’s killed off yet another division!!! nice job rumble:-(
Remember Tuesday Disc Golf Extravaganza 4:30 to 6pm. It's a blast, bring your family and friends. Its only $3 bucks, and if you pre reg. you get a players pack. All proceeds go to Germantown Youth Futures Club. Come on do it for the Children!
