River Ranch DGC should always be a great place to earn some bonus points; with 8 out of 11 players shooting under par, we saw a lot of them today. The sun was super bright and I am now feeling the after effects as I see just how scorched my face is. Not as scorched as the scorecard though! Nine birdies in a row to start ensured that El Capitan would come in on top. Nearly shooting an ace on hole #8 along the way with a skip that bounced off the top of the bucket! Jeremy Lucas turned in an impressive minus 8 to claim #2 leaving the field greatly anticipating his return. No discs were lost in the water today as it is still frozen solid. Come to think of it, no one even landed where there would be water anyway. Doubles play returns next week as we head to Epple Park for what should be a heated battle to the finish, see you there!
