Tracy Too Dread's Write up of 2/23 Tag Challenge

The Disc Giant stole the spotlight on fine rounds by Bradley Corval, Aaron Rush and Shawn Stanley thursday morning, exorcising a poor-playing space alien who had inhabited his body for the first eight holes and piling up birdie after birdie over the last ten, including a 40-footer on 18 to climb into a tag-saving tie with Corval, who nonetheless leaped from 26 to 12 with his great effort. Rush and Stanley tied for second with crisp plus one rounds, with Rush actually dropping from 12 to 14 and Stanley holding at 15. Tracy Moore dropped from 14 to 26 with a plus 4 thanks to some tentative approaches and at least one bad bounce. Moore has now dropped in successive rounds since cracking the top ten to start 2012. Phil Harris got to drive the bus on the final hole after a long birdie make on 17 but kept his 27 tag.
But it was all about the Giant, who after eight holes was scratching his head and looking up at everyone else from his last-place, plus 6 position. From there he dialed in his focus and did exactly what he is so capable of doing, laser beaming putt after putt into the chains from all distances. When the dust settled he had birdied 7 of the last 10 holes. "
