Just a thought about the Singles putting after Doubles formatt....
I talked with a few people during the doubles format and heard a couple concerns:
1) Time - not playing into the late hours
2) Cost - to play singles elimination
In no particular order:
A) We could change the entry fee to $3 for single elimination. Winner takes all the money. This way if you lose in the first round you're not paying $5.00 to play one game. No added time to our evening.
B) We could change the singles format to a double elimination bracket for $5. This way you are gauranteed at least two games before you are completely eliminated. This option would extend our evening by 30-45 minutes.
Obviously there are other options as well and I'm totally open to hearing what you have to say. Please post any proposals to the talk section so that all we can build off of each others ideas.
It's my goal to make our evening a fun and enjoyable time.
