I played up at sleepy last weekend and I saw the path of destruction myself. Is that something they do annually? I don't think it was like that last year. Obviously it was for whatever pipeline it is that runs under there, but they took down some important obstacles in the process. The big bush on the top of the hill on 8 is gone, and the foliage along the left side of the hill of 12 is leveled with the tree on the right side of the fairway closer to the basket gone as well.

im sure that wasn't part of some annual maintenance, i just hope there isnt more to come, like they were clearing things out to begin digging to put more lines in or something

I figured since the whole stretch of land along the pipe was cleared that they wanted to keep the vegetation under control so that roots don't interfere with the line itself. But I suppose they could be clearing the land to do something else as well. I wonder if a private company is in charge of that, or the govt since its a state park.
