I say let's let the Vicious Circle club take the risk on the first sanctioned event at Fuller. Let's use this as an opportunity to expose our course to players who may not know about it. Later, when we hold sanctioned events, we'll have a pool of players that previously were untapped, and possibly even disinterested in traveling to Muscatine. We can observe and learn what changes to make when we hold sanctioned events. It's also a great way for some of our players to rub elbows with some other talented players and even get some recognition.
I think we could still benefit financially as a club by selling club memberships, dri fit shirts, and club discs.
