We have league T-shirts. Please let me know if we still owe you a shirt. Unfortunately we do not have anything larger than a 2XL. If you need something larger, please let me know and we will find something in the shed that will work. I will have the shirts with me on September 25th at Hudson Mills for the CJ's Tournament. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

A3 would like to invite all club members to come out to Hudson Mills on Saturday September 10th to our end of the season party. This was a pre COVID tradition that simply needs reviving.
The club would like to give back to it’s membership. We are having our Champions Cup Tournament for our league champs to get immortalized on the Bastards Cup. The league champs ...

And the third Lost and Found Round is in the books. Congratulations to Steve Nolff for taking home the highly coveted Lost and Found Bowl. I hear it is already in a place of honor (the kitchen counter) doing a most honorable task (holding fruit). Way to go Steve!!
With the addition of the Mulligans and the 50/50 ace pool funds, we were able to raise $643 for the kids at North Star Reach. With any luck we will be able to (fingers crossed) play our next Lost and Found Round AT North Star Re ...

What an evening. The Lost and Found round is one of the best A3 events! The club does a lot of great work and getting the chance to raise some money for North Star Reach is an honor. A HUGE thanks to all the terrific players who came out to support a terrific cause.
Another massive THANK YOU to all the player who came out to TWIZBEE this season!! It was a great year with some real highlights (yeah, looking at you two ace pool winners). Congrats to Floyd Hampp for a rock solid season ch ...

My morning is free that day, so let me know if it's an early start for the cup.
Had a blast playing disc golf with everyone! Looking forward to next season. Thank you Brad, Don and Steve for running the show!
We have bumped the start time a bit earlier. Let me know if you can make it, Floyd. We would like to have you represent..

Just curious. Is Ben Demory going to come out and defend his TWIZBEE Lost and Found title? I don't think we have every had a repeat champ.
The discs are bagged. There is a box of extras. The Mulligans have been printed. The 2022 Lost and Found Bowl has been acquired. I think we are ready to go!!!
The normal TWIZBEE ace pool and CTPs will NOT be in play this week. Instead, if you have a disc or something to throw in as a CTP, we would be more than willing to accept it. There ...

Now, everybody sing along with me, "All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...." I spent a good part of last night while my wife was on a Zoom call bagging up the discs for the Lost and Found Round on the 11th. I think there is a little over 30 bags with a box of leftovers that will also be available.
Hopefully you all remember the drill. This is the fundraiser for the course at North Star Reach. (please Google for more information). For $20, you get a bag and two random ...

This week, Kensington Metro Park. I'm hoping for the Blue shorts. Please map out your route and plan accordingly. There is still some construction in that area. Coming up from Ann Arbor is not too bad. But be careful if coming in from the east cuz that seems to be where most of the construction is.

Hot DOG!!! Tomorrow is Thursday again. We are at Bandemer again. Let's do a round from the whites then the reds. Why not.
It is also National Chili Dog Day. No. Before you ask, we do not want ANYONE to come dressed as a weiner. No. Thank. You. Instead, there will be a special prize for the low score and the high score. So please be sure to leave your scorecards behind after the round. Please.
The Lost and Found Round is approaching. I think we had set the date as August ...

Brad. Used discs I gave could be for lost and found round if you want.
Thanks Steve. I would rather do the Lost and Found Round with your discs. The rummage sale is a freewill donation sort of thing. I'd hate to see those discs go for 50 cents apiece. Thanks again.

highlight from tonight: Ace on hole 18 by Jesse Mullins
lowlight from tonight: Still need a scorecard for one group. I think you know who you are. Jonas. Dave. Seth. Remy.
More details to follow.

Tonight. MBD. Please bring your rummage sale items and wear your best grilling outfit. We are still in need of paper grocery bags for the Lost and Found Round on August 11 at Bandemer. And, as always, we are still accepting discs for this event. Hope to see you all out there tonight. Thanks.
If I'm not too tired after work, I may see you gentlemen this evening.

And, I'm back.
My wife is associated with the Hamburg Township Historical Museum. For the past couple of years, she has spearheaded the annual rummage sale that is one of the many fundraisers they have throughout the year. But, she is currently between engagements with that august organization and, as a result, collections of sale items has been a bit lacking. I know, right?! You may be wondering how you can help. I think I have stumbled on a solution.
This Thursday, besides ...

Please bear with me, this could be a long couple of posts.
First, this week is a celebration of National Hot Dog Day. It is actually Wednesday but I did not want to move the day we play to conflict with the Wednesday leagues. No stepping on toes by this guy. Since some of you like to dress up for these rounds, wear you grilling outfits and receive bonus points. We will determine the number of points on the spot.
Also, we are still in need of bags for the Lost and Found Round coming u ...

What a terrific evening at church. God was impressed by the well quaffed TWIZBEE contingent. Dave Brown, Mike Fry and Floyd Hampp showed up dressed to the nines. Jesse Mullins offered a stylish but relaxed formality. Thanks for playing along, the regular Northridge league did not know what to make of it. I will be turning you over to the more than capable hands of Brad " 16th in the World" Chartier. Be sure to congratulate him for a great showing.
brad chartier July 14, 2022 at 10:53am
Since I will not be there tonight, I surely hope that someone will be taking pictures of the fashion show that will be Sunday Best At Northridge.
Dave Brown July 9, 2022 at 4:07pm
Anyone happen to pick up a pink Undertaker at Bandy on Thursday?
brad chartier July 8, 2022 at 12:37pm
Next Thursday. Northridge Church. Our first ever Sunday Best round. After all, we are playing at a church.
And by Sunday Best I mean your Sunday-go-to-meetin'-clothes. A suit would be nice. A sport coat is allowed and definitely dress pants, button down shirt. Ties, optional.
Point system for Sunday Best.
Suit ( which would include all of the above) Jacket and pants have to match. 7 points
Sport coat. 2 points
dress pants 2 points
button down shirt 1 point
tie ...

Quick question about all the OB and mandatory at Northridge - how much will be in play on Thursday? I think it makes sense to play it all with the Mandos and OB live, but it does make the course much more difficult. Water is the obvious penalty, but I'd like to hear what Brad and Steve think about the rest. Thank you!
Everything is freshly painted as of today. Currently we have hole 10 in the alt location which is a shared pad par 4. Everything else is in normal position. There is also two options for hole 18. There is a short basket but also a long yellow basket. Just giving you all the heads up. Hope you all enjoy the course.
stephen masten July 8, 2022 at 1:29am
I’m looking forward to playing with you again soon.
brad chartier July 6, 2022 at 12:20pm
Good Lord. Wednesday already. Bandemer for two rounds from the white tees.
Now some of you were surprised that last week was not a Bombpop celebration. Last Thursday was indeed the day after National Waffle Iron Day. I do hope that Paul Whitmore is able to get some use out of the personal waffle iron he received after minutes of searching on the interwebs for the answer. And, I'm sure, if any of you really enjoy an Eggo from time to time, I'm sure Mr. Whitmore can help you ou ...

Aw, man.... The calendar doesn't look good for me on September 10 to represent the Twizbee League. This honor may need to pass along to the runner up. I want to thank everyone for the fun times and great competition. It was a really fun season!
