I agree our division are a little messed atm. I believe the top few in both novice and Intermediate should be in a division higher. Problem with moving them up now though in my opinion is re-working the points, or making those who move up, have to make all of the last remaining weeks to get time in, in the new division.. ya know?

any talk of restructuring the divisions yet.... looking back on the scores it seems the top players from each division place higher than most actual players in the divisions above them... I know it has been talked about.. just wondering?? tired of getting beat by 10 strokes every time out... LOL!!

After looking at the past 2 we have done, We have only lost, one-two people on each, and that may not have even been due to safari. Some people just can't make a week.

Counter argument would be that its not preventing anyone from showing up, the people who are refusing to play are preventing themselves. Nothing wrong with a little challenge, how else do we get better.

If safari was a bad idea, then the tournament this weekend wouldn't be as successful as it was last year, nor as good as it is going to be this weekend.

Its different strokes for different folks, and I think only a handful of people don't show up not half I was over exaggerating on the numbers.

Patrick, I would argue that if half the field isn't showing up on the Safari days then it isn't working correctly.

Although personally not a big fan of Safari, I like having them in the rotation. It seems to keep half the field from showing up, which changes the whole field as far as who might snag first for the day.

Instead of having Safari routes, why not shoot Lake Alliance or somewhere else nearby (Lansing)? Personally, that would be my vote.
